Join us for a morning of community service as we partner with Love Ripon to refresh and beautify our RUSD campuses! We have several family-friendly projects planned across the district. Volunteers are encouraged to bring work gloves and basic gardening tools.
Participating Campus Projects:
Colony Oak Elementary: Weeding, general clean-up, and spreading fibar around the playground.
Park View Elementary: Removing ground cover to replace with native plants/rock, weeding, and trash pick-up.
Ripon Elementary: Repainting TK/Kinder playground decals, weeding, and placing fresh bark near the restrooms and front entrance.
Ripon High School: Planting new bushes, adding decomposed granite, and weeding.
Ripona Elementary: Building garden boxes, fluffing playground bark, and painting concrete games (US Map, Alpha Friend, and 4-Square).
Volunteer Perks:
Free Love Ripon T-shirt (while supplies last).
Locally brewed coffee and breakfast at the 8:15 AM gathering.
Free lunch hosted by VFW Post 1051 following the projects.
