The Ripon Unified School District is committed to excellence and a quality education for all students. Our District is committed to lower class sizes at all grade levels and has a coordinated and articulated program from kindergarten through high school. There is a high level of parent and community involvement in the schools. A high level of support for the educational program is evident in the level of community-based financial support as well as donations of time and effort.

 

Students are served by five K-8 elementary schools (self-contained at all grade levels), one comprehensive high school and one continuation high school.

EVENTS

Public Notice of Provisional Appointment

Our Board of Education announces that the resignation of Trustee Annette Vande Pol from the District’s Board of Education effective on October 3, 2019 created one vacant position on the District’s Board of Education.  Mrs. Vande Pol filed the notice with the San Joaquin County Superintendent of Schools on September 6, 2019 that she would resign as a member of the Governing Board effective October 3, 2019.

 

The Board of Education voted at a special meeting held on October 2, 2019 to make a provisional appointment of Vincent “Vince” Hobbs to fill this vacancy to begin after October 3, at the next regular meeting on October 7, 2019.  Unless a petition calling for a special election, containing a sufficient number of signatures, is filed in the Office of the San Joaquin County Superintendent of Schools within 30 days of the date of the provisional appointment, it shall become an effective appointment.

 

On Monday, October 7, Mr. Hobbs will be officially sworn in and begin to serve as a member of the Governing Board through the next regularly scheduled election of November 2020.

Family Fun Color Run 2019

Your School's Parent Club along with other schools in Ripon Unified School District are bringing back The Family Fun Color Run. Funds raised from this collaborative event will be distributed to all of the schools to be used for educational activities. Let's show our kids that being FIT can be FUN!

Dollar General Spreads LIteracy Support in Ripon Unified

 

Dollar General donated $50,000 to Ripon Elementary School through its Reading Revolution Program. Their representatives, Ripon Store Manager Sean O'Connell, Regional Director Tim Bartlett, and District Manager Shaun Wettgen presented the gift. We are humbled and thankful to have been chosen to receive this most generous donation.
